ABOUT US
  1. A little history...
Located in the ground floor of the historic Park Avenue House (formerly the Royal Palm Hotel), The Town Pump Tavern was established in 1996.  The space had previously been occupied by a laundromat, go-go bar, and, back in the 1940’s, a fine dining restaurant also called The Town Pump!

  2. Open 364 days a year
We are open 364 days a year, only closing on Christmas day.  We are open daily from 11:00 am to 2:00 am.

  3. Free wireless internet access

  4. Booking private events
Comfortable, casual, and the perfect place for everyone to have a great time, we look forward to hosting your holiday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, graduations, birthdays, company events, or any other  cause you find reason to celebrate.  Please contact PJ, our event coordinator, at (313) 961-1929 during regular business hours Monday through Friday to plan your next event.

  5. Weekends
DJs keep the party going every Friday and Saturday night, starting at 10:00 pm.

  6. Free hockey shuttle
We offer a free hockey shuttle during every Red Wings home game.  The first bus leaves 30 minutes prior to the game’s start - hop on board!

  7. Transportation
Live in Royal Oak or Ferndale and need to get downtown?  Hop on The Night Move, metro Detroit’s green public transit.  It stops on the corner of Park and Montcalm, right at our front door, and runs most weekend nights and special events from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am.  At $10.00 in advance for an all-night pass or $6.00 each way at the door (credit card only), it’s cheaper than a limo or taxi and safer than driving!  For more information, please visit:  www.thenightmove.com
